Hello! I am Kim from Better Dressed Child. Up for review today- the Roller Coaster Pants Pattern by FooFoo Threads. I am somewhat new to FooFoo Threads Patterns, but slowly I am getting hooked! They are completely my style because I love the super girly vintage inspired designs. These Roller Coaster pants are now my very, very favorite pants pattern.
Why? I love the fi; these pants are as comfortable as they are cute. The pants have a loose fit without being too baggy. And the pockets! Did you notice those cute little pockets!?! Ahhh, I think they are so darn cute! : )
I shortened both the pairs I have photographed. I was looking for a more capri look, but I think the pattern may also run a little long. The pants are a pretty simple and quick sew. Lots of options with the ruffles and curves- single, double, and a few more options, so you can make lots of different looks with this pattern.
The directions are well written with examples of how to customize the fit, although I personally would prefer the directions to be a bit shorter. I like quick directions, but these are perfect for beginner sewers and for those who really appreciate thorough step by step instructions : ). I have plans on making many of these and look forward to the warm weather to pair up with some cute sandals!
