Amour Top by Filles a Maman

Last month we had the pleasure of reviewing the Clemence Shorts from Filles a Maman, which were so cute with their scalloped trim! Today we have the second half of that ensemble, the Amour Top! Check out what our reviewers had to say, and then maybe snag the pattern to sew up for that sweet little girl in your life!

The Lottie Skirt from Brownie-Goose Patterns

The Lottie Skirt from Brownie-Goose Patterns

Spring is officially here and I know I'm personally excited about all of the new patterns that are releasing from my favorite designers, as well as designers that are new to me. I'm looking forward to sewing up new items for my daughter's wardrobe and getting a chance to put together new fabric combinations. It never gets old! One garment I've already made, and plan to again, is the Lottie Skirt from brownie-goose patterns. You can also see Cassie use an element of it HERE in her Top Stitchers Cinderella entry! I know I love it, but let's see what Paige and Ren have to say about it!

Summertime Dreams by My Treasured Heirlooms

Summertime Dreams by My Treasured Heirlooms

One of the things that I love about living in the Midwest is that we experience all four seasons. Yeah, you'll hear us gripe about the allergies, or snow, or heat, but I love that the weather changes and we get to enjoy all aspects of it. I also love patterns that transition well from season to season. Whether it's throwing a cardigan over it or layering a tee under it, I like for my daughter to get a little more longevity out of the things that I work so hard to make for her. Today we have just that kind of a pattern from My Treasured Heirlooms. I'm going to hand it over to Shae and Rebekah so they can tell you all about it!

The Vivian Handbag and Traveler by Swoon Sewing Patterns

The Vivian Handbag and Traveler by Swoon Sewing Patterns

This week on the Review portion of the Pattern Revolution blog, we are all about that BAG!

If you ask anyone that makes bags, you know that they are a labor of love. All of the cutting and interfacing and small details that take your project from homemade to HANDMADE. Then there's the payoff- the copious amounts of drooling by friends, family, and random people on the street that really can't believe that you MADE your bag. Even the ladies at the dentist's office that practically turn your bag inside out because they just can't believe it.
