Pattern Revolution Christmas Stocking

Welp, it’s officially Christmastime! My little family of three took our traditional trek up to the NC mountains in search of the perfect Christmas tree. Our house (and car!) are decorated and festive! And, of course, our stockings are hung by the chimney with care. :-)

This year, my little nephew- whom we affectionately refer to as “Stitchy Boy”- will be joining our family for Christmas morning. He’s 20 months old, learning to say all sorts of things and full of wonder (and energy!)- the perfect age for Christmas! Since he’ll be sharing in our family’s Christmas morning festivities, I felt that I just *had* to sew him a stocking all his own! ;-)

Back in 2013, Pattern Revolution created and shared a fun, FREE cuffed stocking pattern. The Pattern Revolution FREE cuffed stocking pattern features a fun, trimmed heel and toe with a nice, large top cuff (with optional ruffle).  Stocking, heel and toe pattern pieces are available for download (cuff is a rectangular measurement) and the instructions/tutorial can be found on the Pattern Revolution blog. Using fabric and trim that I had on hand, I created a quick, merry holiday stocking for my nephew in no time.
