October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Cricut has released a collection of images that you can use for your awareness makes. The images are great for adding to shirts, water bottles and other items to show your support for Breast Cancer awareness and to use for your events. I’ve done several relay for life events and have had several family and friends affected by cancer, so I try to support fundraising and awareness events in any way I can.

I used the I Am a Fighter images to make workout gear that I can wear year round and also to any walks or events that I attend. With over 40 designs available, you’ll be ale to find something perfect for you as well!

I started with a basic T-shirt that’s great for everyday wear and for events. I used my Cricut Maker, easy press 2 and Cricut Iron on Lite in pink, pink blush and grey

One thing I did for this shirt was change the color of the text. Since I was using a dark shirt, I wanted to make sure I could see the design. I changed the color of “we wear” to gray to better match my project. To do this, I selected that part of the design on the right design panel.

Original Color

And then I selected the new color that I wanted from the color chart.

Color changed to gray.

Since I was also using iron-on for a shirt, I had to mirror my image when I cut it to make sure it was applied to the shirt correctly. To do this, I selected “mirror” on my mat set up page to mirror the image. You want to do that for any image you are using to iron on to a project.

I also made a water bottle and visor. I love having a water bottle with me so I’m not using single use plastic, and this bottle also has a great message so bonus! The visor will be great for anytime I’m out and about. For these, I used the Cricut Premium Vinyl.

The final item I made was a work out shirt. I love inspiring clothes for when I’m working out and this fits the bill. I love the message! I used the mirror technique from above against to make sure my image transferred correctly for my shirt.

If you’re looking for a some images to support your favorite cause or fighter, the I Am a Fighter images are perfect.  Plus they are all included in Cricut Access (not sure what that is? Read more about it here.
