Aspiring Designers Challenge: Zuzzy Patterns

Hello Pattern Revolution readers! I'm Angela from Crafting Zuzzy. I am SO excited to be here today to share with you my newest pattern, the Chestnut Pants.

The Chestnut pants are a great slim fitting, dressy pair of pants for babies and toddlers sizes 0-3 months to 4T. The pants feature a flat front waistband and elastic back. The pattern includes three pocket options: front pockets, rounded back pockets, and pointed back pockets.

Check out those back pockets! The best thing about this pattern is that it sews up real quick. No welt pockets, no darts, just a simple pair of stylish, well-fitting pants. (If you have the basic sewing skills mastered, you can whip these up in an hour!)

The PDF file is 25 pages long, and includes photo tutorial and computer drawn pattern pieces with layers so you can print only the size you need.

I designed these pants with my little boy in mind, but they work great for girls too.
The pattern calls for medium-weight woven fabrics. For a dressed-up look try fabrics like chambray, suiting, linen, or wool blends. For a more casual look try fabrics like corduroy, denim, or apparel cotton.
These would make great pants for your little boy's Easter outfit this year! Or simply a great wardrobe staple, everyone needs a nice lookin' pair of pants! You can get your pattern today over at Craftsy here or Etsy here for only $6
