L'Oiseau's tag line is 'In Celebration of Creation' - which fits so perfectly here at PR.  We celebrate every creation that you our readers make, we want to inspire you to create, and we want the process of creating itself to BE a celebration.  Some say that sewing is better than therapy.... well it certainly is more FUN.  And what is more fun than surrounding yourself with new pretties in your fabric stash!

I was lucky enough to receive a sampling of fabrics from L'Oiseau.  I was immediately impressed with the vibrancy of the prints, the innovative designs, and the softness of the knit.  These Jersey Knits are 95% cotton and 5% spandex - pretty much my ultimate favorite blend for making EVERYTHING for my kids.  This is the fabric I use for T-shirts, Play Dresses, Tunics, Leggings, pants, Pajamas, underwear, etc...  And with 60% stretch and good recovery, this fabric is perfect for knit/yoga waist bands.

Ok back to the vibrancy of these prints - I just love the variety of colors.  And I know what you are thinking - those are gonna fade when you wash them - but NO!!!!  They really didn't at all.  Even the dark blue elephants is just as deep and rich after washing.  I have had knits start to get a bit of fuzz and loose a shade of color after one cycle through the washer and dryer - these fabric came out looking brand new.

If you are looking to add some new variety to your fabric collection, check out L'Oiseau..... and stay tuned to see what I have in store for these pretties ;o)

*I received these fabrics free of charge, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.*
