We'll share a few of our favorites and encourage you to take your sewing up a notch! Next Up, lets talk about ribbing. You can buy rib knit fabric on the bolt at a variety of weights, but for some things - like the Letterman Jacket, what you really want is Ribbing by the yard. We just happen to have a great resource for you, Elizabeth of Fairytale Patterns Designs sells ribbing in her Shop in 4 color ways: Navy&White, Purple&White, Black&White, and Red&White. Take a look at her shop, and you will be all set for your next jacket, this can also be used for the cuffs and waistband on the Aviator Pants.

The last resource we are going to look at today is FABRIC!!! It can sometimes be a daunting task to find great fabrics for BOYS. I do a lot of solid colors, upcycling of old clothes (this works particularly well for the Zee's Tee, Honor Roll Henley, and Aviator Pants), and crossing my fingers and praying when I hit the Red Tag clearance sales at Joanns. But there are some online shops that carry some pretty niffty prints for boys... so don't loose hope!!!!
