I wish there were 8 days in my week... I just think of all the things I could get done with an extra 24 hours in my life, but then again, that extra 24 hours would only be helpful if it came with childcare and a nap ;o)

I chose the Neptune Tee from the 8 days a week collection.  I really loved the triangle details that upgrade the pattern from basic tee to something cool and different.  In fact, I liked it so much that I just had to make two!

First I wanted something casual and fun - I grabbed some Triangle print from Girl Charlee that I had left over from a past project and went to work.  As I was cutting, I reached the sleeves and realized I only had enough fabric left for one sleeve - ughhhhhhhh.  Never one to give up, I grabbed a coordinating solid from the shelf and kept on trucking.  The result is a slightly quirky every day shirt that I feel quite cute in.

I paired this with skinny jeans and tall boots for a look that can drop kids off at school, run to the grocery store, and stay comfy yet stylish.

Next up, a slightly dressier version that is perfect for work, sundays, and play.  I went with a light knit with great drape and stretch and added lace in the triangles for a soft feminine touch.

I paired this version with black pants and grey pumps - simple but chic.

I love both of these tops and will be wearing them often - thanks Pattern Anthology for letting me join in the 8 Days a Week Tour.
