Sew Yourself Some Love - Casual Cute Comfort

I always think it is best for women to delve into self care sewing by sewing things they know they love to wear.  Self care sewing can be a great area to eventually take risks and try out new shapes and styles on your figure, but if you are starting out, stick with things you love to wear and know you look good in.  You will be happier with the results and more likely to keep sewing!

Sew Yourself Some Love

Greenstyle Finnley Pants and Centerfield Raglan

I'm convinced that sewists go through ups and downs with sewing just like in any other profession.  I have good days and bad with sewing.  Sometimes I HATE my seam ripper and sometimes I don't mind her quite as much.

Even more so than just going through good days and bad, I go through periods of time when I don't want to sew anything.  Like, I don't even want to enter my sewing room.  Pretty fabrics don't even call my name.  The best way for me to get out of that rut is to sew something for myself!

I am a pretty low key, low maintenance girl.  I don't do fussy and frilly or heels.  I'm typically picking up kids, dropping them off or running to the grocery.  So, I LOVE it when I can make myself something cute to wear when I'm just running around.

Greenstyle Creations has the perfect outfit for running around town.  I like to be comfortable but not tacky and I think this is a winner!

I made the Greenstyle Creations Centerfield Raglan and Finnley Pants.  They are both so comfortable and so cute!  I can think of a million different fabrics to use to make these two (and I probably will)!

I'm so happy for a quick and easy sew as well.  Both of these patterns took me very little time and were super simple!  When I picked up my daughter from school, she loved my top, score!

I hope I have given you a little bit of inspiration to get in your sewing room and Sew Yourself Some Love.

Happy Sewing!

XOXO,
Kara
