Falling in Love with Art Gallery

If you haven't noticed... I've become slightly smitten with Art Gallery Fabrics.  It all started with sewing up some samples for Danielle of Whimsical Fabric in this adorable Bicycle Print - I mean can you get any cuter!?!?!?  You can get many Art Gallery Prints from Whimsical Fabric - and she is getting more in daily!!!

Here are some of my other Art Gallery Sews:

I love how well Art Gallery knits wash up and maintain their shape and color.  With a 95/5% cotton/lycra blend, these knits are perfect for tee shirts, leggings, dresses, skirts, etc....  And the available prints are so pretty - ranging from kid to adult in style and color range.  Check out their available knits HERE.  I hope that they keep adding more an more coordinating knits with each line - they are simply amazing to work with!!!

I was lucky enough to receive this beautiful print from Art Gallery: Whispy Daybreak Aura.  This print is so perfect for spring and coordinates with Leah Duncan's Morning Walk collection.  I knew immediately that I wanted to make something for Mack with the print.  I was working on a new pattern and thought that the fabric would be perfect to girly up the unisex knit henley pattern I was working on.  I just love how it turned out!

Since the pattern is unisex, I knew that I would be sewing up 2 for my boys as well.  And I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that this print coordinates perfectly with the Navy feathers from Bari J's Petal and Plume.  SCORE - I just love when lines from different designers work so perfectly together.  I added a piece to Mack's for her faux henley, and then used it as the main fabric on each of the boy's shirts.

These shirts will be staples for my kiddos and I plan on making them in every Art Gallery knit I can get my hands on ;o)
