Black Friday Must Haves

Black Friday is our favorite time to bargain shop for patterns and most of us start making our lists (and checking them twice) weeks in advance.  Our Black Friday Sale post is already live and lists all of the great sales so today we are presenting a few of the teams recommendations for patterns to grab while they are on sale.

Rachel's pick is the Magnolia Swing Top from Winter Wear Designs:

Happy Thanksgiving! Rachel here, and one of the things I’m thankful for this year is amazing women’s patterns. The new Magnolia Swing top and dress from Winter Wear Designs is a great wardrobe staple with a twist. I used rayon spandex for mine, with a drapey cotton jersey blend for the accent fabrics. I added a little pocket to tie it all together, and I’m loving my new top. Easy to sew and easy to wear - what else do I need?!

Nacole's pick is the City Lights Skirt by Little Lizard King:

My must have for this Black Friday in the pattern world is the City Lights Skirt by Little Lizard King. It's a true circle skirt cut all at once with a flat front waistband and an elastic back with optional sash ties. I did mine with the ties because who doesn't love a big bow in the back! The entire skirt took about an hour from print to finish! Which makes it even more of a must have for me as im always looking for a fast sew!

Kim's pick is the Cuddly Carrier by Bishy Barnababes:

Hi, Kim here from Better Dressed Child.  My pick for Black Friday must haves is the Cuddly Carrier by Bishy Barnababes.  Tis the time of the year for holiday gifts and I am pretty sure this will be a fav!  Can I say a craft fair pick as well?  I love how quick and easy this is.  Boys love this too!

Marnie's pick was the Extraordinary Girl by Filles a Maman:

The Extraordinary Girl by Filles a Maman is a great pattern for busy girls who are always on the go! Knit tops are always needed here, and the unique envelope neck makes this one every easy to pop and off. I have shortened the sleeve because it is Summer here, and very warm, and I wanted to show how you could make this top work all year around. With a size range of 12 months - 14, it is a pattern that can be used over and over again for many years.

Check out our sales post for codes for these and other patterns on sale during the black Friday sales! Happy sewing (and shopping!)
