April showers bring May flowers and along with flowers come DRESS WEATHER! We are so excited about spring and summer that we are showcasing some amazing dresses to fit all of your dressmaking needs! Oh, Charlie!!  This dress and top pattern by Violette Field Threads might be my new favorite.  From the tie at the neckline to the sweet, subtle scoop of the back, the perfect cap sleeves (or tie sleeves if you prefer) and of course, the pockets - I absolutely love everything about it!

My daughter measured into the size 6 (well, a half inch over, so I followed the recommendation of choosing the smaller size) and the bodice fit is terrific!  She's really a size 5 for height, but I almost always size up for that, because I don't like her dresses too short.  I'm glad I did because i think the length is perfect!  I see a lot more Charlies in our future!
