Summer time brings in all kinds of wonderful changes both season and wardrobe wise! Where I'm from ( South Ga) It seems to always be summer time so most of our wardrobe consists of short sleeve shirts, shorts and flip flops. My little one loves dresses so when I can make her something that she is comfy in while playing outside in hot weather it's a win in my book!
Kyra by SLPCO was a HUGE hit for us! This pattern was actually my FIRST all knit pattern I have ever done! It was so simple to do I found myself asking why in the world did I wait to long to work with knit! I used a lightweight fabric I got from Joanns years ago and was perfect! Kyra is packed full of options. Choose from a regular empire bodice or a drop waist bodice three skirt lengths include peplum, tunic and dress – all three lengths can be made with a gathered skirt or circle skirt! The back has a trendy crossed strap style! The pattern also included a A-line version as well as a hack to make a sports bra! Who doesn't love tons of options with just 1 pattern!
This pattern would be fun to showcase nice panels or bold fabrics with so many ways to create a perfect piece ! We already have 4 more cut and ready to be sewn! Share your creations with us! We would love to see!
