Hello there everyone! Nichole here, from Full of Grace Boutique. I’m happy to be back here to share my take on the great new pattern from Love Notions, the Bluezette for Ladies. This dress has many options, actually up to 30 different ways it can be made. Two different bodice styles, fitted or blousy. Lined or unlined. Three sleeve options and five skirt options.. I chose to make mine an unlined, blousy bodice with the circle skirt. And I love it!

This was my first time sewing a pattern from Love Notions, and I am happy to say that I was very pleased. The pattern felt very up to date with current pdf “technology”. The tutorial itself had a really great flow, with easy to see pictures to follow along with. The designer goes into great detail to help you find the perfect fit and what adjustments to make if necessary. She also includes several outside links for additional help if needed. I learned a few new techniques with this pattern, which I always appreciate. And I’ll be implementing them from here on out as well.

Overall, I love this dress. I actually feel pretty great in it. I contribute that to her help in finding your natural waist for that perfect fit. Really looking forward to making a maxi version of this dress next!!
