Ever Thankful: A Look Back at some Oldies and Goodies

It is the Monday of Thanksgiving week, and that means.............CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!! Hahahah, I know that the stores have been filled with holiday decorations for weeks, and all the ads on TV are screaming buy me buy me! But for me, when you hit the week of Thanksgiving, it is truly the Holiday Season. And not one to skip over being thankful first, I just have to give the biggest shout-out to the Pattern Revolution team. You can't imagine how thankful I am for these women. Not only are they crazy talented, they are also the most caring and generous group of ladies I have ever know - and I am grateful to call them my sewing sisters!!!

I little birdie told me about some great knits....

I love knit fabrics, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE them. So I like to keep my finger on who has cute knits available at a price I can afford. The Euro knits from L'oiseau run about $14-15 per yard, which for quality cotton lycra knit is a pretty good deal in my book. Of course you want your buck to go as far as it can, so I love mixing in a statement knit with other solids to stretch these awesome fabrics to their max.

Making Pajamas, another of my favorite gifts!

So my favorite posts from last year were our 'The Night Before Christmas' Series. Not only were there tons of wonderful stories about Christmas Eve traditions, there were tons of fun Pajama's to share. I have been making PJ's for my kiddos and their cousins for the last three years, and it is a tradition that I hope to keep up for quite a while.
