Hi there! Cassie, of Lily Shine Boutique, to review this adorable set of aprons for mom, daughter and dolly!

I am so lucky to have beautiful friends with beautiful babes that can model for me!

My girls are all about matching and when they can match with each other, their mom and their dolls, it is the perfect trifecta! Top it off with baking cookies and it's like heaven on Earth! When I saw the apron set up for review I quickly went for it knowing full well it would be a hit in my house. My oldest has a full size American Girl doll that was the perfect fit for the doll size pattern, I was able to sew the S/M/L version for a great fit for my model and myself. My little model and both of my girls fit into the little girls' size so they could all share with each other and swap as they wished.

This pattern comes with two size options for the Mommy apron (S/M/L and Women's sizes), two size options for the girls' apron (2T-5, 6-10) and an 18" doll size apron. The bodice is a sweetheart shape with halter ties. The skirt is a semi-circle shape with a bottom hem piece and a sash tie. There are pattern pieces to print for the bodice, pockets and main skirt piece, 27 pages total for all three apron sets.

I had a huge stock of holiday fabrics from Riley Blake, Michael Miller and Moda and I love creating eclectic pieces so these aprons turned out so fun and funky in the various fabrics.

My favorite part of this pattern was the pockets. I LOVE having pockets on my aprons for keeping various baking tools, a pen or just my phone handy while bustling around in the kitchen.

Even the doll pattern has pockets, and sheesh are they cute!

The pattern directions are through and include digital drawings of the important steps. The directions are written so that the entire apron skirt is finished first, giving the option to leave the bodice off the apron, or even add it on at a later point.  I chose to add the bodices, the sweetheart shape is too cute to leave out!

The pattern was a bit time consuming but I think the next round will go much faster. To make all three aprons it took me two evenings worth of work. The fabric requirement chart is very generous, you could definitely make these from various sized scraps you have in your own stash! The end result was worth the effort and now I'm off to make a fourth apron so my youngest can take part in the baking festivities this holiday season.

These aprons would make for super cute gifts too! I hope you enjoyed reading about the Mommy, Dolly, and Me set of aprons. Dust off those leftover holiday prints from last year and get to creating some adorable matchy and fun aprons for you and your family!

Seriously, I am so excited about this pattern - it's so perfect for me and my daughter! My little mini me loves baking and cooking as much as I do, and we spend many weekends in the kitchen together. She was so excited when I told her I was going to be making her and I matching aprons, and literally screamed when I showed her the finished product (including the itty bitty doll version I made for her baby, "Karly"). She couldn't wait to wear her apron and do some baking!

I started with Lilah's apron, and by the time I got to mine and the doll's, each apron only took about 30 minutes; this was a quick and fun project. I considered using holiday fabric, because I am a sucker for tradition, and these would be perfect to pull out in December and start our holiday baking. Christmas aprons are definitely at the top of my to do list, but for these I wanted something that we could wear all year. They turned out so pretty!
